About Us
The Beehive re-opened in early May 2007 after a major twelve week refurbishment brought it up to the standard expected by our customers. The guiding philosophy behind the business now, is one where our customers can relax in an atmosphere that is informal yet quietly efficient. To this end there is only a DJ on weekend nights and no sport at any time, (even if Scotland do make it to the World Cup Final!), and we definitely don't like rowdy stag or hen parties!
We want your time with us to be as relaxing and enjoyable as we can make it. If we succeed, please tell a friend. If we fail, please let us know, so we can fix the problem. Our sincerest hope is that you want to return again and again.
All year round we have a live comedy night on Mondays from 8pm and are currently a Free Fringe Venue with up to 12 shows per day for the whole of the The Fringe part of The Festival
Finally, we are very proud of our Scottish cask ales for which we have gained The Beautiful Beer Gold Award
